St. Patrick’s Altar & Rosary Society
The purpose of our Society is to promote praying the Rosary and cultivate a greater devotion to our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar through Mary Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. The Altar Rosary Society has played an important part of St. Patrick’s Parish and we are looking for new members. Membership is open to all ladies of the parish. We meet on the lst Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Every meeting is opened with the recitation of the Rosary. Membership is $10.00 per year. Our next meeting is Thursday, October 3rd. Some of our responsibilities include the purchase and maintenance of altar linens, the priests’ vestments, stoles and cassocks and care of the altar server cassocks and surpluses. We set up the seasonal decorations and flowers during Easter, Advent and Christmas. Our Society also maintains the Sacristy candles and furnishes the hosts, wine and other articles needed for Mass and the cleaning supplies, etc. required to maintain the church. We also assist with any other church functions and the cleaning of the church throughout the year. Our flower purchases are supplemented by parishioner contributions during Easter and Christmas. Other income is derived from the our Annual Christmas Bazaar with it’s Silent Auction and Raffle in the fall, the Card party in the summer. Many of our members and their families are involved in other ministries as well, such as ACTS, Men’s Bible Study, CCD, Bible Study, Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist, Lectors, choir members, ushers. It’s a great way to meet people. We are very grateful to the parishioners of St. Patrick's for their support and assistance throughout the year. If you feel that this ministry is for you, we would love to have you. God’s blessings to all. |

Religious Education for our children has begun and St. Patrick offers opportunities for parents to be informed too, like with the above series we offer on Tuesday evenings. Also, while the children are instructed on Sunday mornings, the adults can come to the school and receive valuable information about our Faith. Come and join us. Coffee and refreshments are served at both events. |
