A.C.T.S.This three-day weekend for Catholic lay people is filled with lots of reflection time, singing, praising and sharing with all, the blessings of the Lord! There are 'angels' to serve your needs, speakers to share the Word of God, and singing to uplift your souls. AdorationEucharistic Adoration is time spent adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us." Altar & Rosary SocietyThe Altar & Rosary Society is a group of parish women dedicated to the upkeep of the altar and sacristy of the church. Altar ServersServers from 3rd grade through high school assist at Mass, weddings, funerals and other liturgical celebrations. Bible StudyThis group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for a more in depth view of the Bible. Caring Friends: Bereavement OutreachPrepare and serve after-funeral meals for St. Patrick Parishioners. Charismatic Prayer GroupThis group meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. praying for the intercession of the power of holy spirit. The group also prays for healing. Couples' Dinner GroupMeets once a month for Catholic fellowship at a host family's home. Eucharistic MinistersExtraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Gift BearersParishioners present the offerings at Mass. Grief SupportIs a support group for people who have lost someone to death or divorce. They meet for six weeks at a time throughout the year. Homebound Ministry/Sick & Shut-ins:Prayer ListServe those who are homebound and unable to attend Mass. Hospital MinistryVisits Doctor's Regional on Tuesdays & Fridays administering Holy Eucharist, prayer and visitation to patients I'm Ok, You're OkVolunteers make weekly phone calls to Homebound parishioners that are on the list to receive Holy Communion on Sundays. The purpose of this ministry is to make sure they are OK and stay connected with the parish. Journey to DamascusAn ecumenical movement whose aim is to promote a renewal or rekindling of life's core religious values. |
Knights of ColumbusA men's organization dedicated to the service of the priests and parishioners through fundraising to support various parish projects. LectorsMen and women who proclaim the sacred scriptures at Mass. Marriage EncounterHelps couples enhance their communication skills through a weekend retreat. Men's 1st Friday Mass & BreakfastMen of the parish meet once a month to attend Mass and have a breakfast in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Men's Bible StudyA group of men gather to learn more about the bible. Music MinistryJoin together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. in the Choir Loft. We sing at 12:15 p.m. Mass on Sunday. Prayer Blanket MinistryGets together once a month to make lap-sized blankets while praying for the comfort of knowing people are praying for those who are sick or going through a difficult time. RCIARite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Religious Education & Adult Religious EdParents are called to be the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith and in giving witness to the faith by what they say and do. However, to assist them in that mission the parish offers opportunities of catechesis at different levels. Scouting ProgramsSt. Patrick Church has a large group of boys and girls in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. A large number of them reach the highest levels of their respective groups. UshersVolunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. Works of MercyMinisters to the poor in our community. Youth MinistriesSt. Patrick Church offers youth ministries to middle school (Edge) and high school (Life Teen) aged children of our Parish.
