1st Holy Communion - High Shool (9th to 12th Grade)

High school students who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation are warmly invited to begin their preparation. Please visit our High School Confirmation tab to learn more about the preparation process, register, and take the next step in continuing your journey of faith.

1st Holy Communion - Adults

Adults who have not yet received their Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to continue their journey of faith through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).

Sponsor Requirements

  • Each Confirmation candidate must choose one sponsor who will accompany and support them in their faith journey.
  • A sponsor must be at least 16 years old and have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist.
  • The sponsor must regularly attend Sunday Mass, receive Holy Communion, and strive to live according to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • A single sponsor must be living according to Church teachings and not cohabitating outside of marriage. A married sponsor must be married in the Catholic Church.
  • A sponsor should be someone who can provide a strong example of faith and encourage the candidate to grow in their relationship with Christ.
