Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
For children ages 3 through 8th grade, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd provides a hands-on, Montessori-based approach to learning the faith. Through Scripture, prayer, and meaningful materials in the atrium setting, children encounter God’s love and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00–10:15 a.m. Please refer to the Religious Education Schedule for the current year’s dates and important information.
First Holy Communion
All children preparing to receive the Sacraments participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd approach. Through engaging presentations and hands-on materials, children are invited to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. Together with their parents, they prayerfully reflect on key Scripture passages as they prepare to receive the Sacraments.
Parent Pledge
Parents play an essential role in their child’s faith journey. The Parent Pledge is a commitment to support and participate in your child’s sacramental preparation through prayer, involvement, and continued growth in the Catholic faith.
